Society for Animal Welfare and Management (SWAM) is an emerging organization striving to bring about the significant issues on animal welfare. We are committed to address primarily humane, environmental and social aspects of animal welfare. We believe that the earth is not an inherited property of human beings only; all the living beings on it have equal rights to live on and share it equally and indiscriminately. Since its establishment in 1998, it has contributed its support to the wide sectors of animal welfare like dog show, awareness against cruelty, free/low priced veterinary services, mass vaccination against rabies, disaster relief programs, lobbying with lawmakers, demonstration against long distance transportation of live animals for slaughter and research works.Participation in national and international seminars and workshops, disaster relief, farm animal welfare and rural livestock based livelihoods supporting are SAWM's current activities.
