Achievements
1. Awareness against cruelty to animals through different media.
2. Conduction of joint veterinary clinic to provide services to stray and needy animals.
3. Production of awareness materials like booklets, brochures, pamphlets and fliers.
4. Establishment of its own veterinary clinic in New Baneswor, Kathmandu-34, Nepal.
5. Veterinary services to more than 3000 animals comprising both domestic and stray ones at the clinic of SAWM Nepal.
6. Fostering of stray animals.
7. 1200 dogs were given anti-rabies vaccine free of cost in 6 different camps.
8. SAWM was rewarded permission to advocate against cruelty to animals, from the Department of Livestock Services.
9. 3000 community dogs were vaccinated against rabies virus in Jaleswor Municipality and its territorial village development committee of Dhanusha district of Nepal.
10. Flood disaster relief program was completed in Holiya village development committee of Banke district of Nepal where more than 5000 animals were provided medication, minerals and nutritional food and fodder.
11. Comprehensive survey completed on the general status of Equines (working animals) of Nepalgunj of Nepal.
12. Demonstration in front of Australian Embassy against long distance transportation of live animals for slaughter from Australia to different parts of the world.
13. All the programs mainstream awareness against cruelty to animals.
14. SAWM is rewarded association with RSPCA UK, WSPA UK and is affiliated with Social Welfare Council (SWC) of Nepal.
